haircutting, styling & makeup artistry

Biography

With a mother who worked as a hairstylist for 25 years and owned 2 salons, it seems Stephanie Borgelt was destined to work in the beauty industry. But with over 9 years of her own experience as a hairstylist and makeup artist, Stephanie is paving her own path.

Stephanie began her career as a freelance makeup artist for Lancôme in 2000, when she was just 17 years old. In 2004, Stephanie received her Cosmetology license from the well-respected Marinello’s School of Beauty in Whittier, CA. Shortly after graduating, Stephanie began working at Exclusive Artists Management in Los Angeles, where she assisted top makeup artists for print, film and runway work. Soon she was spearheading projects of her own. Projects have taken her from LA Fashion Week to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Her work has also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as various commercials and promo spots on cable networks.

Stephanie’s forte is editorial, translating her style into different looks and occasions. From the raw sex appeal of import magazines to the commercial looks of catalogs to the glamorous looks of formal events, Stephanie has mastered it all.

Her work has graced the covers and pages of Import Tuner, Hollywood Life and Dazed and Confused magazines, as well as numerous promotional shoots.
